WAYS TO ENSURE THE COMPETITIVENESS OF LOGISTIC ENTERPRISES OF UKRAINE ON THE BASIS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This paper highlights the most important factors influencing the level of efficiency and effectiveness of logistics processes. It is proved that it is the logistics innovative technologies that are the component of enterprise development that ensure the achievement of the best results, which significantly affects competitiveness. In the conditions of unstable, fast-moving external environment and intensification of competition among logistics enterprises, their development depends on constant search and introduction of new ideas as innovations are a basis of development of the enterprises. The paper finds that one of the most important tasks of innovative logistics management is the elimination of operations time. One of the main problems of logistics companies is the speed of work the warehouse and the duration of delivery by logistics companies not only in Ukraine but also around the world. Unfortunately, Ukrainian companies are far behind the leading logistics companies in Europe and America in implementing innovative technologies in the logistics process, losing competitive advantage. The study of the experience of innovative development of the world's leading companies should be a significant impetus for the development of domestic logistics companies, which in the context of globalization will help increase their competitiveness. Therefore, the paper considers examples of the implementation of innovative technologies in the logistics process, such as: the introduction of a robotic system of loaders «Kiva», which fully automate the process of storage, assembly and packaging; equipping warehouses with packaging works for «CartonWrap» goods; introduction of mobile air drones; «VolvoVera stand-alone» electric trucks; introduction of artificial intelligence and augmented intelligence and more. As a result, it is noted that the implementation of innovative activities increases the degree of adaptation of enterprises to the external environment, expands its opportunities to increase its competitiveness. The use of innovative logistics technologies in the management system enables the company to increase the efficiency of its activities and provide its competitive advantages in a complex and changing market environment. Among the innovative technologies used by international logistics giants, a number of achievements deserve attention, the introduction of which will contribute to more efficient and effective operation of logistics enterprises in Ukraine, increasing their competitiveness.
